Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. He was a member of One Direction. In Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England, Styles is the child of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school where together with three students, he created his own group of musicians, called White Eskimo. After winning the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to their outstanding performance, they also participated in 2010. The musician was always fascinated by the arts, however he also wished to become a lawyer, physiotherapist or even a scout. A part-time job in a city bakery is his very first opportunity to earn money for the family. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) during the auditions in 2010 in The X Factor. His group was compelled to split up because of this. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd form an ensemble called One Direction after the X Factor audition. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The group played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group was one of the contenders for the prize. Despite this, they finished third in front of Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell had paid 2,000,000 pounds under a contract with One Direction.
