Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson is an American actress singer writer director and producer. Her most well-known role was Tara Maclay in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson has also written, directed and starred her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred in Kiss the Bride. Benson was the youngest of children of Edward Benson and Diane Benson. She was born in Birmingham in Alabama, on January 1977. Danielle is the younger sibling, and she's an artist. The father of Benson was Jewish while her mother was a Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. Her family was raised going to a Reform community in Alabama. Benson, who has been featured in a variety of TV and film shows since Buffy ended, has also appeared in The Killing Jar. Behind the camera she put her writing skills to work on The Ghosts of Albion series and produced projects such as The Killing Jar in 2010 and Drones. Buffy estimates that at least 1800 Slayers exist in the universe, and 500 of them are members of the Scooby Gang. The Slayers may be awakened when they reach suitable maturation such as Soledad, the Slayer Soledad was born on her 16th birthday. Ruth Connell to play Rowena in season 10 of Supernatural. Apparantly she is a mysterious older-school witch.
